Dear Lord, We pray for all the fathers on this day, especially those who have gone before us. These were great men who did so much for us. Lord please comfort the fathers who are no longer with their families and the families who miss them as we remember them on this day-Amen.

Prayer for Deceased Parents

It was You, O God, Who commanded us to honor our father and mother. In Your kindness have mercy on the souls of our parents, and forgive them their sins. Grant that we may see them again in the brightness of Your everlasting glory. We ask this through Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

"How do I say goodbye to two brother's (Johnny&Ruben)

That I love as much as God?

I still cannot believe you're gone

I'm still hoping it isn't true

Wishing this heartache was just a dream

From which I'd wake up and find

both of You still here, in life, with us

Or if not...somehow time we could rewind

For I don't know how to do it

How to say goodbye to both brother's like you

There's almost no one who's shared as much of my life

Who knows me as well as you guys did

I often think upon the memories we shared

When we were very young

You guys teased me, played with me and laughed with me

When our lives had just begun

When we shared simple thoughts and simple dreams

And were lost in childhood's plans

Dreaming up our next adventures

In the vivid ways only children can

And as we grew up there were more special moments... "

Out of the depths I have cried to Thee, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice.
Let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.
If Thou, O Lord, shalt observe iniquities; Lord, who shall endure it?
For with Thee there is merciful forgiveness:
and by reason of Thy law, I have waited for Thee, O Lord.
My soul hath relied on His word; my soul hath hoped in the Lord.
From the morning watch even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord.
Because with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him plentiful redemption.
And He shall redeem Israel from all her iniquities.
Eternal rest give unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
Let us pray.
O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful,
grant to the souls of Thy servants departed the remission of all their sins, that through our pious supplication they may obtain that pardon which they have always desired; who lives and reigns for ever and ever.  Amen.

For Jesus taught that someday “all those in the memorial tombs” will be resurrected. John 5:28
Isaiah 25:8:  He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. And the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken [it].
Revelation 21: 3, 4: " With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

WHEN A LOVED ONE DIES
Have you lost a loved one in death? The pain, the grief, and the feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable. At such times, we need to go to God’s Word for comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4) The Bible helps us to understand how Jehovah and Jesus feel about death. Jesus, who perfectly reflected his Father, knew the pain of losing someone in death. (John 14:9) When he was in Jerusalem, Jesus used to visit Lazarus and his sisters, Mary and Martha, who lived in the nearby town of Bethany. They became close friends. The Bible says: “Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.” (John 11:5) Though, Lazarus died. How did Jesus feel about losing his friend? The account tells us that Jesus joined Lazarus’ relatives and friends as they grieved over this loss. Seeing them, Jesus was deeply moved. He “groaned in the spirit and became troubled.” Then, the account says, “Jesus gave way to tears.” (John 11:3335) Did Jesus’ grief mean that he had no hope? Not at all. In fact, Jesus knew that something wonderful was about to happen. (John 11:3, 4) Still, he felt the pain and sorrow that death brings. In a way, Jesus’ grief is encouraging to us. It teaches us that Jesus and his Father, Jehovah, hate death. But Jehovah God is able to fight and overcome that enemy! Let us see what God enabled Jesus to do.

Even though I'm miles and miles away nothing ever stops me of thinking of my beautiful family. My dad taught us that family was everything in life. We are all different but special in so many ways. I wish I could of been there for you all. Some probably don't even know who I am for I've been away so long but I always make it a priority to know who my family is. My family is special no matter if you're close or far. Losing someone is not easy but God gives us strength to go on knowing that one day we will be together. God Bless each and everyone of you.
